About Maclean Ardgay
Maclean Ardgay Ltd which operates throughout the Highlands and Islands of Scotland has its office base, workshops and yard in Ardgay, Sutherland which is centrally located for accessing projects both on the east and west coasts, North and South.The company employs around thirty members of staff and has a turnover exceeding £2.5m. Our Senior Management and Directors have significant experience of all types of construction works within the Civil Engineering sector from the smallest domestic projects to multi-million pound infrastructure contracts.
These disciplines are supported by the supply of ready-mix concrete, quarrying and a licensed inert land filling facility within the group.
All employees hold qualifications and certification appropriate to their roles within the organisation in both technical and safety issues.
Civil Projects
Maclean Ardgay have been involved in a number of high profile civil engineering projects. Most recent include deck reconstruction at Aldmiralty Pier - Invergordon, and extension and infrastructure of Grannies Heilan Hame.
Water Projects
In addition to Civil Engineering, Maclean Ardgay specialise in the supply and installation of both clean and waste water facilities predominantly for Scottish Water.
Achley Concrete
Maclean Ardgay has two quarry facilities in the Dornoch area. One of the quarries has a licence to accept inert waste material and the other quarry provides sands and gravels for general sales and our readymix concrete supplies.
